ELMORE COUNTY, Idaho (CBS2) — One person is dead and two people are injured after a single-car crash in Elmore County Sunday morning.
Idaho State Police say the crash happened at 12:39 a.m. on Idaho State Highway 51 at milepost 87.
A 33-year-old Nampa man was driving a Ford pickup north on State Highway 51. The pickup had two other passengers.
Police say the pickup left the road, overcorrected, and rolled. The female passenger was not wearing a seatbelt and the juvenile passenger was not in a child safety restraint.
Police say the Nampa man and juvenile were both taken to a local hospital. The female passenger died of her injuries at the scene of the crash.
Her next of kin have been notified.
The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
