The tweet hints at the jungler being a void creature, as the League community has been asking for a new void champion for quite some time. League is finally going to release a void champion after four years. The last void champion was Kaiā€™sa, and even then, she was not actually a void creature.

So, the excitement around the new jungler is really high, as expected. But so far, there hasnā€™t been any information about ā€˜herā€™ abilities or even a name. Yes, the new champion will be female. Riotā€™s champion roadmap video talks about her as the ā€˜Empress.ā€™

Possible Names for the New Void Jungler

There was some speculation about the name being Remā€™ora. As in the Video, a quote mentions, ā€œbeautiful Remā€™ora swimming endlessly through cities of Lavender.ā€ This could also be something else, as Remora is a type of suckerfish, and it could point to one of her abilities.

However, now, League of Legends leaker Big Bad Bear (@BigBadBear_) posted a tweet linking to a video where he mentioned that the name is undoubtedly not Remā€™ora.

He said in the video that the name of new champions is usually hidden in their teasers and claims that the name of the new void champion is going to be Belā€™veth. There is a mention about a city of Belā€™veth which will be the first to fall. So is the city named after the champion, or is this another speculation? Players will have to wait until more information is released to find out.

Release Date for the New Champion

The Void jungler will hit the rift in patch 12.8 on April 27, 2022. But before that, players will be able to play her on the PBE and know more about the terrifying void creature about to hit the rift.
